Summary: The Sales Manager in the Hospital Division is responsible for leading and executing sales strategies to promote and sell healthcare products and services to hospitals. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets within the hospital sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth market research to understand the healthcare landscape, competitor activities, and industry trends.
    • Analyze hospital needs and requirements to identify potential sales opportunities.
  2. Sales Strategy:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration within the hospital segment.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to create and execute comprehensive sales plans.
  3. Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, including administrators, department heads, and procurement officers.
    • Identify and engage with key opinion leaders and influencers in the healthcare sector.
  4. Product Knowledge:
    • Stay updated on the features, benefits, and applications of healthcare products and services.
    • Train and educate hospital staff on the usage and benefits of the offered products.
  5. Sales Presentations:
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to hospital stakeholders.
    • Address queries and concerns, and provide technical support as needed.
  6. Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and updates for management.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance against targets.
  7. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the internal sales team, marketing, and product development teams to ensure alignment of goals and strategies.
    • Provide feedback from the field to assist in the continuous improvement of products and services.
  8. Customer Feedback:
    • Gather feedback from hospital clients and communicate it to the relevant teams for continuous improvement.
    • Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.
  • Strong understanding of hospital operations and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and fieldwork.
